If you didn’t eat enough candy yesterday on Valentine’s Day, go to Dylan’s Candy Bar on the upper east side of Manhattan.  Here you’ll find two floors of endless candy, chocolate, ice cream and sweets.  It’s located right by Serendipity, so you can go to both places to satisfy your sweet craving.  If the line is too long at Serendipity, the ice cream bar at Dylan’s is equally as tempting with dozens of toppings and flavors.  Downstairs at Dylan’s you can fill up bags with your favorite color M&M, powered candy, and more!  For a souvenir, grab one of their many t-shirts or a colorful, giant sized lollipop.  Dylan’s Candy Bar has pre-made gift baskets for every occasion, get well, birthday, new baby and others.  If there’s a candy you like, I’d be surprised if you couldn’t find it here.  The atmosphere is fun and cheerful, with “I Want Candy” playing in the background, a trip to this candy bar is always a good time.  There’s a party room downstairs too if your interested!

Papabubble located on Grand Street is a candy store that you always wished you could go to. If you’re like me and watch the Food Network all the time, you see how they make and twist candy together in a factory, but here you can see it in person. They actually make and mix the candy right in front of you! The second you walk in, the fruity smell of the candy takes over you, and you instantly want to try a piece (which you can, because there are a couple of jars around the place filled with candy for you to taste). They make lollipops, shapes and objects from their sugar and you can ask them as many questions as you want.  Right now you’ll see Christmas tree shaped sugar in their windows and everything looks like a piece of art.  Along with this new shop in New York, you can also find Papabubble in Amsterdam, Toyko, and their head office in Barcelona.
